OSD's Employee Engagement #ALS

Image
It is true enough what Dr. Josette T. Biyo an Executive Director of the Philippine Science High School System said that "Teaching may not be a lucrative position. It cannot guarantee financial security. It even means investing your personal time, energy, and resources. Sometimes it means disappointments, heartaches, and pains. But touching the hearts of these people and opening the minds these. children can give you joy and contentment which money could not buy." Thank you t o Ma'am Rosalina Espiritu Santo and to all the students of ALS of Tibagan Elementary School for giving us a warm welcome. Salute to all the teachers! # ALS   # EmployeeEngagement

OSD Spirituality

Image
Every Friday, Operation Special Division provides a 15 minute break to give way for our so-called-spirituality. The said spirituality/inspirational talk is a way for us on cultivating our values that inspire us to be noble and decent on how to engage on our jobs and professions. We at OSD recognize that each person has their own beliefs. We respect each individual's belief and their right to hold their beliefs sacred and private. Spirituality - as we define it, is to pursuit the meaning and purpose of our work, the desire to connect to other people and the desire to be part of a community guided by the word of God.  ‪#‎ OptimismSupport‬   ‪#‎ OSD‬

Image
by Carol Glatz VATICAN CITY — As children (and grown-ups) are getting ready for Halloween tonight, Pope Francis has spent the past week getting people ready for the feast of All Saints, celebrated Nov. 1. While the saints are meant to be role models for today’s men and women, the pope likes to remind people that holiness is  not something completely out of reach  — it’s not some “rare privilege for the few,” but an inheritance everyone receives at baptism. The pope has said, “ Saints aren’t superheroes  nor were they born perfect. They are like us, each one of us,” but when they experienced the life-changing encounter with God, they never left his side. So are you ready to be a saint!? We’ve compiled some of Pope Francis’ Top 10 Secrets of Success for living a holy life in the pictures below:
