OSD Gala: Enchanted (OSD Christmas party 2025)

Hosting the annual Christmas party at OSD is a bit like hosting the Olympics. With four major sections, Bidding & Scrapping, Checking, Pricing, and Cleaning, each team only gets the chance to spearhead the festivities once every four years. It’s a long-awaited, golden opportunity to sprinkle a little office magic. This year, the spotlight shone on the Pricing Section. Their chosen theme? “OSD Gala: Enchanted.” And from the very first step onto the NCVI rooftop, the transformation was absolute. The familiar space had vanished, replaced by a twinkling realm where fairy lights blurred the line between reality and fantasy. This was no ordinary office party; this was a night of pure enchantment.

Orchestrating this magic was no small feat. Led by the dynamic duo of Mary Jane Maniquiz and Lady Jade Emily Sia Ladion, the entire Pricing Section, with the guidance of our Quality and Technical Service Department head Ms. Leilani Magpantay, poured their hearts into the details. Countless meetings and late-night brainstorming sessions built the blueprint for the evening, all for that moment when their colleagues’ faces would light up with wonder.

And what a night it was. The air hummed with joy as everyone connected over sumptuous food, toasted with bottomless drinks from a chic mobile bar, and cheered for colleagues winning the event’s biggest-ever prizes. But the true success was felt in the warmth of the room... the laughter, the shared stories, and the powerful feeling of celebrating not just as coworkers, but as one big, joyful family. By every measure, the Enchanted Gala was a dazzling, heartfelt triumph.

If you thought the “Enchanted” theme was all about decorations, the OSD Got Talent segment proved the real magic was in our very own people. The stage became a portal to pure, unadulterated joy as five talented colleagues transformed from co-workers to captivating performers, leaving judges and the entire gala utterly mesmerized.

The night began with a delightful twist of “Doble Kara.” Carlo Atendido from the Cleaning section poured his heart into the powerful Aegis ballad “Sinta,” while his colleague Josie Cangayda had us all smiling with her spirited rendition of the Visayan classic “Pasayawa Ko Day.” Same concept, two wonderfully different vibes!

Next, a dose of early Christmas cheer serenaded the room. The Checking Section’s dynamic duo, Mark Boraquit and Ronnie La Torre, took the stage. With Ronnie strumming the guitar, Mark’s vocals wrapped around us like a warm hug, a sweet melodic pause in the festivities.

Then, the energy shifted dramatically. Nory Rose Degala, also from the Checking Section, set the dance floor ablaze. Her performance was an electrifying mix of today’s hottest moves, culminating in a show-stopping finale set to the hits of BINI. She didn’t just dance; she commanded the room.

Not to be outdone, Arlou Lucban from Bidding & Scrapping delivered a performance that was all smoldering intensity. His R&B and sexy dance number was a masterclass in control and charisma, a spicy, rhythmic display that left everyone breathless.

In a night where every act felt like a winner, Carlo, Josie, and the duo of Mark & Ronnie each deservedly took home the consolation prize. The radiant Nory Rose Degala danced her way to a well-earned 1st place. But the title of OSD Got Talent Grand Winner was ultimately claimed by the captivating Arlou Lucban. More than just a competition, it was a vibrant celebration of hidden talents and bold personalities. It was a reminder that within our everyday teams, there are stars ready to shine and for one enchanted night, they truly did.
